Zoomlion deploys over 400 workers to clean Central Region after Independence Day celebrations

Waste management company, Zoomlion Ghana Limited, has deployed over 400 personnel to ensure the Central Region, which hosted the 65th Independence anniversary parade, is clean.

According to the company, its personnel started working from Kasoa to Cape Coast where they engaged in painting road curbs, tiding of the environment, as well as hoisting flags on street poles on the main Kasoa to Cape Coast stretch.

Speaking to journalists during the Independence Day parade on Sunday, March 6. 2022, in Cape Coast, the Public Jobs Manager of Zoomlion in the Central Region, Robert Kingsley Ayemi, said his team will continue to work even after the event to ensure that the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, the venue of the event and its surrounding communities, are tidy.

“We deployed over 400 YEA personnel on every street in the region right down from Kasoa to Cape Coast. Our involvement has really been felt in the region with regard to the event. Even after the clean-up exercise, we were painting curbs along the road, hoisted flags from Kasoa through to Winneba, Mfantsiman, Yamoransah and then to Cape Coast,” he said.

Mr. Ayemi indicated that prior to the event, the National Committee tasked to see to the successful running of the event charged his outfit to make sure the venue and the entire region were clean, adding that the 65th Independence Day celebration was marked in a clean environment.

“Before the start of the event, the National Committee met with Zoomlion to handle waste management issues at the venue and the region. We initially began with a series of clean-up exercises at the Central regional capital, Cape Coast, where our personnel were mandated to pick every waste on the floor, and this is how we achieved success during the event,” he explained.

Zoomlion will be working hand in hand with the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly to ensure that the venue is clean even after the event, Mr. Ayemi assured.

Police officer assaults guy for beating his girlfriend (Video)

A uniformed Police Officer has been captured on camera landing a series of brutal slaps on a civilian.

According to footnotes surrounding the trending video, the police officer caught the guy assaulting his girlfriend.

He confronted the guy to deal with him man-to-man by also beating him in tenfolds of what he did to his girlfriend.

In the video, the humbled boyfriend can be seen pleading with the police officer and also promising never to lay a finger on his girlfriend again.

This video has received mixed reactions from Ghanaians. Some social media users have applauded the police officer for dealing with the guy.

Others have also chided him for putting the law into his own hands and going overboard in the process.

Photos of Sir John’s first son pops up plus the properties Willed to him

Late NPP firebrand and Ghana Forestry Commission head, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie; popularly, known as ‘Sir John’ has been trending on the internet since morning after an exclusive copy of his Will managed to land on the internet.

Citing from the Will, he received 1 acre of land at Achimota Forest which has caused a public outcry because the forest is for the state.

He also got a Mansion at Ogbojo and one at East Legon and an extra 3 bedroom house at East Legon.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has indicated it will investigate a document making rounds on social media alleging that late former Forestry Commission Chief Executive, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly called Sir John, included portions of the Achimota forest lands in his will.

The purported will, which was been publish by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni’s Fourth Estate, contains four parcels of specified and unspecified acres of land in the Achimota Forest, which the late politician bequeathed to named persons.

Awal Muhammad Mustapha, a Nigerian teen, has been dubbed the “World’s Youngest Billionaire” and owns enough supercars and a mansion to prove it.

Ismail Mustapha, often known as Mompha, is the son of a controversial millionaire and has been named the youngest billionaire by The Sun in the United Kingdom.

Awal Muhammad Mustapha, Mompha’s son, has been dubbed the “World’s Youngest Billionaire,” having purchased his first property at the age of six and travelling the world via private aircraft.

One photo shows him standing on the hood of a cream Bentley Flying Spur, which he claims his father purchased for him as his first automobile.

Muhammed is the son of Ismailia Mustapha, a multimillionaire Nigerian internet personality known as Mompha.
