Kwakunews - Sadio Mane of Liverpool will join Bayer Munich for £ 35 million

Liverpool has agreed on a € 41 million (£ 35.1 million) deal to sell Sadia Manea to Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich.

The Reds will receive a fixed € 32 million (£ 27.4 million) with a further € 6 million in performance and € 3 million in individual and team performance.

Liverpool rejected two bids from Bayern before accepting their latest bid for a 30-year-old whose contract with the Reds will continue until next summer.

In 2016, he joined Liverpool for £ 31 million plus £ 2.5 million in addition to Southampton.

Since then, Mane has scored 90 Premier League goals for Anfield and finished last season with 23 goals in all competitions. Reports of his departure follow Tuesday’s signing of the Uruguay Treaty ahead of Darwin Nunez of Benfica for the first £ 64 million.

Along with other strikers Mohamed Salah and Robert Firmin, both 30, Mane has been an integral part of Liverpool’s success in recent years.

The trio helped the club win the Champions League in 2019 and then ended a 30-year wait for the league title next season.

It was also a remarkable year for Mane, who won the African Cup of Nations with Senegal before helping Liverpool win the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup and finishing second in the Premier League and Champions League.

Mané is expected to replace Robert Lewandowski in Bayern, whose Polish national team is expected to leave the German club involved in the transfer of the Spanish giant Barcelona.
