Trey Haun has returned home to Nalerigu after his heroics at the Unicycling World Championship.

15-year-old Trey Haun has returned home to Nalerigu in the North East Region of Ghana after his heroics at the Unicycling World Championship.

The kid made history by becoming the first Ghanaian to win a medal at the Unicycling World Championship when he won a silver and a bronze medals.

His success story went viral when his father shared it on social media.

Trey Haun being a white boy representing Ghana, many were those who asked his father how the kid became a Ghanaian and he revealed that himself and his wife brought Trey to Ghana when he was 1-year-old baby and they have been living in Nalerigu for about half of his life.

Tuesday, August 9, 2022 he returned home with his two medals and he was given a great reception.

There was a funfare and Trey Haun presented his medals to Naa Bɔhagu, paramount chief of Mamprugu.

Ace Ghanaian music producer and sound engineer, Uncle Fred Kyei has revealed how Bishop Daniel Kojo Obinim aka Angel Obinim saved him for the ill-famed June 3rd disaster.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Onua FM’s Anigye mmere show, Uncle Fred narrated that, Angel Obinik appeared and stopped him from going out on that fateful day.

According to Fred Kyei Mensah, he could have been part of the gone souls or injured victims of the twin disaster but Angel Obinim, the founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, spiritually saved him.

He’s reported to have said;

“I sent my son to go for a file in my studio, and the boy returned saying he couldn’t go because it was raining. Because I needed the file desperately, I decided to go myself. The moment I stepped out of the door, Obinim appeared in a flash. I panicked, I was in a trance, and he told me to quit going for the file,”

“I’m the only one who saw him, so whether you believe it or not, I do not care. After I saw him, I went back and sat on my couch. My wife also warned me not to go out because of the heavy clouds. Sometimes we need to listen to our spouses and side chicks too. So I listened to my wife. I would have been dead if I had gone”.

“The next day, the boy who takes care of my studios called asking about my whereabouts. After telling him where I was, he told me all my studio equipment and cars were gone. I lost them all to the flood. I had three studios back then, everything was gone, but Obinim took care of me financially,” 

On June 3, 2015, an explosion and a fire occurred at a petrol station in Ghana’s capital city Accra, killing over 250 people and hundreds of people suffered severe burns in the unfortunate incident.
